Sweet traditions that unfold and develop
In the immediate vicinity of the Unesco World Heritage Site of the Abbey of St. Gallen, at Marktgasse 28, chocolate tradition is at home. The beginnings of Praliné Scherrer date back to 1875. Since then the house has been one of the first addresses when it comes to truffles and pralines, gingerbread and butter confectionery.
The young team of owner and Managing Director Vittoria Hengartner has committed themselves to this tradition. They often add a dash of innovation to the traditional recipes. Passion, professional skills and courage lead to new premium quality that surprises even the most delicate of palates.
